Chewy Chocolate Fudge
There is nothing in the world like chewy foods. The best part about these being that you can sustain them in your mouth for a longer period of time. All other kinds of foods get over after a few minutes. But chewy foods can be enjoyed a bit longer. This Chocolate fudge is chocolaty and chewy. You can make it crunchy as well if

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Recipe From Donna Hay at Donna Hay
Today is Republic Day here in India.I just love to see the parades. The highly synchronised movements are a marvel. But sill I am of the opinion that the money used for these celebration could be better utilised if they were used for the upliftment of the poor. There are huge amounts of money being wasted on celebrations.I agree celebrations do matter. We are rejoicing in our independence. But dosen't everyone require an enjoyment, even the poor.Atleast on this day let us do something for others.
I made these because I had two egg yolks left from my meringue recipe. But according to the opinions I got,

Peanut Butter Brownies
Recipe from Bake or Break at Bake or Break
You know,I have a tremendous amount of common sense(Ironically).I recognised the fact again when I was cooking these. You see,I have two ovens. One is the old traditional one which works on the principle of conduction and a convection microwave oven. So, usually the baking is done in the old one because it helps in raising the caking better. But when I was cooking this recipe The electric plug of the oven broke(I was famous for taking very good care of things,so much so that no toy of mine still exists in mint condition.)because I dropped it on the floor. So, my only option was to use the other one.And I knew that it is not that good for baking.I knew that it works by heating the water in the food.I also knew that baking in it requires me to take the brownies out long before it is completely cooked.Because if you don't the food will harden. But despite all this knowledge I waited till the brownies were cooked before I took them out.The

Nanaimo Bars
Recipe adapted from Baked Bree at Baked Bree
This is a really cool recipe.Everyone I gave it to said it tastes delicious.I can't really believe I made this recipe with an amazing degree of accuracy.I mean most usually there would be something wrong with my cooking. But this is really good. But I did make some changes in the recipes. The original recipe had coconut and walnut in the crust.I am not a fan of coconut so I didn't put it.I would have put walnuts, but I would have to buy some.I just couldn't wait to make the recipe and I just didn't want to wait till I got the walnuts. So I made them without the walnuts. Also, the middle layer used heavy cream. But heavy cream is not available here.So I used fresh cream.Despite, these substitutions the bars were really good.Good dosen't define it,I could use elegant instead. The bars were elegant.Maybe you would get a better definition for them if you try it.
Crust:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons cocoa

Cake Truffles
Recipe borrowed from Beti Vanilla at Beti Vanilla
I made these cake truffles because they seemed so delicious.I was right. This recipe is addictive. It is now my favourite food. They don't look as stylish as they should have been. They're so easy to make.So its worth a try.
You should have seen the frequency with which they got over.I kept going to the fridge to eat them.I would borrow Lays's slogan "Noone can eat just one" as it seems completely applicable to this dish.

Chocolate Waffle/Pancake
Recipe adapted from Cupcake Muffin at Chocolate Waffles
I know the title of the post seems confusing. Its because this recipe was supposed to make waffles and it would have, if had a waffle maker. But I don't have a waffle maker. So, I had make them like pancake.I know they look pathetic for pancakes. But they taste heavenly. After all you mustn't judge a book by its cover.Waffles happen to be one of my favourite dishes.

Chocolate Cupcake
I really love when it christmas is here. All the festivities, the cakes, and everything looks superb. The favourite part is all the baking and icing I get to do.Icing is the coolest part of making cakes. No cake is perfect without the perfect icing.I like cream icing the best because it tastes good. But it seems that the icing is usually sliding down. What icings do you use?

Girl In A Gown Cake
I know this cake could look a little more better.Especially if the girl was wearing clothes that matched the icing. And the photography could be improved. But it tastes really good.I planned to use a barbie doll. But barbie looks so small on this cake.It would look as if the barbie was wearing a huge gown.
Cake Flour(Maida)- 100gm
Butter
